HELMET WARNING:
This headgear is designed solely for equestrian use. Although a helmet meets
or exceeds ASTM F 1163-90A, no headgear can protect the wearer against all
foreseeable impacts. Under certain conditions, riding or driving accidents can
cause serious injury or death. The headgear must fit well, and all retention
straps must be securely fastened. Helmets are constructed so that the
energy of an impact may be absorbed through partial destruction of the
headgear, though damage may not be visible to the naked eye. If it suffers an
impact, it should be destroyed and replaced. Helmets can be seriously
damaged by some common substances without visible damage. Please
consult International Riding Helmets (IRH) before applying adhesives, cleaning
agents, paints, and the like. DO NOT use without reading the instructions. If
your helmet does not have instructions included, contact the manufacturer
before using. This product is designed to offer limited protection from a fall
from a horse. It is not designed to protect from being kicked or from a horse
stepping or falling upon a rider. International stands by each and every helmet
they manufacturer. Should your helmet suffer a severe blow, simply return it
to us for free inspection and free replacement if necessary. The throat strap
is an integral part of your helmet’s protection system. It must be properly
adjusted and used whenever you are horseback riding. The helmet may fall off
if the throat strap is not properly secured. Helmets are designed to be worn
with the throat strap under the chin.   DO NOT wear with a chin cup unless
provided by the manufacturer.
